I've been a pretty avid tea drinker my entire life, it started with my grandma when I was really little and I've loved it ever since. Black tea has never really been my thing - I've always been an herbal drinker, green tea being my utmost favorite.
In 8th grade I started experimenting with creating my own tea flavors by mixing different types of fruits and vegetables with hot water or a basic green tea. One night, I created what I would call my signature drink (see image), and had everyone in my family try it. Thankfully, they loved it and my grandma even asked for the recipe (which is a very big compliment coming from her)!
Making it is extremely easy, so I've decided to post the recipe here so that other tea lovers can give it a try if they're looking for something new! It's very easy to make and tastes great! I hope you all enjoy.
Ingredients: 1 bag of green tea, 5 raspberries, 1 candy cane
1) Boil water
2) Soak tea bag in hot water and mug of choice
3) For best results, cut raspberries up into tiny pieces or simply put into drink whole
4) Mix with a candy cane to give the tea a nice crisp edge. Either leave candy cane on the side or break up into little shards and scatter in the tea
5) Find a comfy chair or windowsill, a good book, and enjoy!
